Carey Hero King is a New Orleans-based artist who explores how interiors can reflect the life and spirit residing within. Her work captures the poetic intersection between nature, symbolism, and setting to visualize how our surroundings reflect the essence of individual sensibilities, while still reflecting how beauty builds connections that run undercurrent to how choice defines identity.
She works primarily with oil and pastel, pairing each composition with antique frames that add layers of spirit and history to her compositions.
