RJ Raizk
RJ Raizk is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersection of memory, identity, and perception through a bold and dynamic visual language. Drawing from personal narrative, cultural symbolism, and a keen sense of aesthetic experimentation, Raizk creates immersive experiences that blur the boundaries between the familiar and the abstract.
Based in New Orleans, Louisiana, Raizk began developing his artistic voice at an early age, later refining his practice through formal training and years of independent exploration. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York City, his work spans a wide range of media, including painting, mixed media, installation, and digital formats, each piece unified by a distinctive use of color, form, and emotional depth.
Raizk’s art has been featured in exhibitions across New York, Paris, and New Orleans, earning recognition for its emotional resonance and conceptual clarity. Through a process that combines intuitive mark-making with carefully considered composition, Raizk invites viewers into a layered world of vulnerability, transformation, and beauty.
Whether working on large-scale installations or intimate pieces, RJ Raizk continues to push creative boundaries while remaining deeply connected to the core themes that define his vision.
"As a kid I was drawing on walls and shutters and now it's my career"
Raizk’s wall designs are inspired by organic forms, with pattern names like Coral (which evokes the playful squiggles reminiscent of Keith Haring), Circles, Fronds, and Leaves.
However, Raizk explains that these motifs stem less from literal references to nature and more from an instinctive, fluid process. His creative approach is driven by internal emotion, rhythm, and a deep appreciation for vibrant colors and tactile elements.
Feelings, emotions, music, and a love of color and texture are the core of his inspiration
